Apprenticeship Week

To celebrate Apprenticeship Week, NYS Department of Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon presented a proclamation to The Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association, thanking the RTMA for its apprenticeship work.

In the picture left to right is Morgan Laubmeier (Industrial Manufacturing Technician), Rodney Hay (Electro - Mechanical Technician), Commissioner Reardon, Kevin Kelley, Bob Coyne, and David Warfle (Industrial Manufacturing Technician).  

 


RTMA Awarded Proclamation for Exemplary Workforce Development

New York State department of labor commissioner Roberta Reardon awarded the Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association with a Proclamation in recognition of excellence in workforce development specifically in the area of apprenticeships on Tuesday November 12, 2019.  
 

 


RBJ/RTMA Technology and Manufacturing Finalist Award

Kenneth Swol from Maris Systems Design accepts his finalist award at the RBJ/RTMA technology awards in the apprenticeship category. Congratulations Ken!  
 

   


Fifth Apprentice from the RTMA Apprenticeship Program Graduates
 

October 2019
 
Friday October 11th 2019 we graduated our fifth apprentice from the RTMA apprenticeship program. Thomas Thomas completed the toolmaker program with Lapp Insulator. Congratulations Thomas.  
 

   



Technology and Manufacturing Awards Apprentice Nominee
 

September 2019
 
Kenneth Swol an employee of Maris Systems Design is a RTMA apprentice and has completed his second year of a four year program. Kenneth has been nominated for the apprenticeship award at the Rochester Business Council Manufacturing awards banquet on October 16th. Good luck Kenneth.

First Graduate From RTMA Apprenticeship Program

August 2019

A huge congratulations goes out to Jrlon's very own David George for being the first ever graduate of the RTMA's (Rochester Technology & Manufacturing Association) machinist apprenticeship program. David was mentored by Journeyman Sean Davies. Great job by both David and Sean!
