Hands-On Career Exploration
The Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association (RTMA) is proud to sponsor the fourth annual ROC With Your Hands event this fall. This unique, hands-on career exploration experience is hosted by the City of Rochester in partnership with Monroe County, Monroe Community College, the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program, the Builders Exchange of Rochester, and UNiCON.​

ROC With Your Hands connects students to real-world career options in industries that are essential to our economy. It’s more than just a field trip — it’s a chance to discover pathways to success that go beyond the traditional classroom. If you’re an educator, parent, or community leader, this is an event your students won’t want to miss.

Event Date, Time, and Location
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Rochester Community Sports Complex in downtown Rochester. In case of extreme weather, the backup date is Thursday, October 9, 2025.​
