This stainless steel under car protector was punched using a punch laser, formed and welded using our extensive machine shop capabilities. This particular piece is machined from 304 stainless steel, and we are experienced with a wide range of alloys and materials. Once machining is completed, we apply a layer of powder coat paint per the customer's supplied specifications. The under car protector is used in the rail industry, to protect electrical wires against wear and damage. Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association (RTMA) developed each step of this manufacturing process to meet the rail industry's specifications for quality.
