Precision Laser Cutting

Offering precision laser cutting, Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association (RTMA) can cut metals including aluminum, stainless, and cold or hot rolled steels. We can also laser cut plastics if the project requires it. Our facility shares the concern of high efficiency and high quality with our customers, and we employ Six Sigma certified engineers as well as lights out manufacturing processes to meet this need. Lasers are equipped with a robotic load and unload feature to minimize downtime and get products out as quickly as possible.

Our precision laser cutting equipment can handle material sizes up to 60" x 120" (1524 mm x 3048 mm), with 2-axis cutting capability and a maximum cutting thickness of 0.875" (22.225 mm). We can meet tolerances as tight as +/- 0.002". Our laser is a CO2 (Gaseous) model, and features flying optics and moving material. We serve industries from aerospace to railroad, and can manufacture in prototype or large-scale production quantities.
