Teale Machine Co, founded in 1943, is a manufacturer of precision machined products for all industries.  Located at 1425 University Avenue, Teale is centrally located to all major expressways in Rochester NY.  Having almost 70 years of machining experience the company has gone through numerous expansions in respect to facilities and capabilities.  Originally Teale was designed to produce mass quantities of socket set screws, over 1,000,000 per day in fact, utilizing a building that incorporated a central oil filtration system,  an overhead parts conveyor system and an advanced chip handling system which set the growth for numerous opportunities.  In 1987 after a change of ownership the company expanded into the CNC turning market followed shortly by investing in thru feed and in feed center less grinding. 

Having the advanced technology within its rebuilding department Teale patented their own design of a servo machine and now comprises of 40 five spindle automatic machines.  In addition they recently added 2 six spindle automatics with plans for more.  The CNC department expanded causing a need for a second location which houses 12 various styles CNC lathes complimented with machining centers that include top names of Brother and Hardinge machines.  Two buildings totaling 48,000 square feet are now in existence. 

Teale has been a leader in the field of using servo drives on all of the equipment, multi-spindle, center less grinding, secondary milling, assembly and inspection machines adding to capabilities which are second to none.   Dovetailing all of these features together has set Teale in the driver’s seat for another 70 years to come.
