Political Advocacy

The RTMA believes that it is important to help promote and elect candidates who reflect it’s members’ views. Now, more than ever, manufacturing needs elected officials who are committed to advocating public policies that support its interests. Being informed about the issues and taking action is vital in protecting Upstate New York's manufacturing base. The RTMA Government Relations Committee works to ensure political accountability in areas such as education and training, health care, workman's compensation, corporate taxes and other state and federal regulations that affect the industry.
